Private yacht charters

A Monaco catamaran request, with the hull and programme chosen together.

A Monaco catamaran request should say whether sailing or powered cruising comes first. Both can offer a broad living arrangement, but the day, crew tasks and available berth differ. Compare the actual hull against how your party will use it.

The visit and its shore arrangements

Monaco boarding is part of the choice

The yacht’s beam makes the confirmed marina and berth arrangement important. A request associated with Monaco does not establish a particular pickup quay or an event berth. Share the guests’ hotel locations and arrival constraints, then wait for the specific meeting instructions before booking transfers.

For an alongside occasion, the operator must assess the actual vessel’s permitted use and attendance. Broad living space is not permission to carry more cruising passengers or host an unrestricted reception. Separate those numbers from sleeping accommodation and from the manufacturer’s design information.

A route suited to the day

A coastal lunch towards Cap-d’Ail, an eastern outing and a longer Riviera stay are distinct briefs. Choose the experience that leads the enquiry and let the captain assess a feasible course. Neither a wide hull nor a sailing rig promises a motion-free outing or access to every attractive stopping place.

Send dates, guests, duration and whether sail or power is preferred. Name the social or accommodation features that matter and ask for a model or comparable named yacht. Compare the actual photographs, charter guest limit, crew, boarding, expenses and terms as one proposal.

Inside the yacht dossier

Sailing and powered catamarans serve different wishes

If the party wants to experience sailing, describe that as a central part of the programme. The skipper’s course and the weather will then influence how the day is used. If the main requirement is a broad table-and-lounge arrangement with a programme under motor, a power catamaran offers another reference.

The Prestige M48 notes in this collection describe a motor catamaran. A comparable request can remain open to another model, provided the operator explains the actual hull, propulsion and service rather than treating all multihulls as interchangeable.

Turn width into a useful comparison

Ask where the whole party sits while moving and where a meal is served at a stop. A wide deck can have several separate areas, but the arrangement must suit the group. Current photographs of the real table, shade and interior are more useful than judging only the beam in a specification.

Think about circulation through the day. Guests returning from the water, crew serving food and people moving between levels need workable routes. Someone remaining aboard should have a comfortable place without blocking those movements. Ask about the actual stern and stairs if any guest needs assistance.

Cabins and crew for longer charters

For a stay, request the actual bed plan and the route to each guest room. Hull arrangements can divide the group differently from a conventional monohull. Tell the organiser who wants privacy, who can share and whether children need to be near particular adults.

Crew sleeping space and service should be clear in the same offer. A published cabin option does not show how the actual charter is staffed. Ask how meals, provisioning, fuel and marina costs are handled across the programme rather than assuming the hull form implies a particular package.
